This position plays a critical role in ensuring the venue is properly cleaned and restored after the event. Your efforts will help wrap up the event smoothly, ensuring everything is packed away and the space is left clear to return to normal food warehouse activities. Tasks may include:
- Breaking Down Event Setup: Assisting in the dismantling of event structures, such as tables, chairs, decorations, and signage.
- Packing Up Supplies: Gathering and packing away event materials, including supplies, promotional items, and any rented equipment.
- Cleaning the Venue: Sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring that trash is properly disposed of or recycled. Ensuring that all areas used during the event are cleaned and returned to their original state.
- Sorting and Organizing: Ensuring that items such as decorations, linens, and supplies are organized for transport or storage, as well as sorting through items that can be saved and reused for future events.
- Assisting with Waste Disposal: Managing waste disposal, including trash removal, composting, and recycling, to ensure the venue is left clean and in line with environmental practices.
