Who We Are
We are the local food bank for Douglas County and we are on a mission to fight hunger and reduce food insecurity in our local community with compassion, dignity, and action. We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food, and we envision a community where no one has to worry about where their next meal will come from.
What We Do
From our warehouse, we distribute food to a network of local pantries and kitchens that directly serve individuals and families in need.
To reach underserved areas, we also run a mobile food pantry that brings fresh, nutritious food directly to remote neighborhoods where access is limited.
Our Food Hero program is available at the local farmers market and teaches youth about healthy eating through fun, hands-on activities and farm-fresh snacks that make nutrition exciting and accessible.
