Early Learning - Classroom Companion (FECC Seahorses Dur)

Description

Our Classroom Companions support the teacher to help young children learn and play. This opportunity focuses on creating a fun and supportive environment where young children can grow, develop important skills, and explore through play, socializing, and group activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Child-Centered Focus: Ensure children are the priority at all times; limit adult conversations to maintain an environment focused on the children's needs and activities.

  • Engagement with Children: Actively sing, dance, and have fun with children to create a positive and energetic learning environment.
  • Reading Stories: Read age-appropriate stories aloud to the children, encouraging language development and a love of books.
  • Playing Games: Facilitate and participate in educational games that help develop social, motor, and cognitive skills.
  • Project Assistance: Be present with children as they complete creative and educational projects, guiding and assisting as needed.
  • Meal Time Support: Assist children in setting the meal tables, ensuring a calm and orderly mealtime experience, and possibly helping them with eating.
  • Group Time Projects: Participate in group time activities, providing support to children during lessons or group projects.
