Our Kitchen Support Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the kiddos have what they need to enjoy their meals in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. By helping keep the kitchen running smoothly, you’ll be contributing to a space where children can enjoy nutritious meals, stay energized, and be ready to learn and play.
Essential Duties:
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment after meals, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
- Sorting Dishes: Sort and organize clean dishes, placing them in the correct areas for easy access.
- Filling Tubs: Fill tubs with necessary items (plates, cups, utensils) for meal service and ensure everything is organized for efficient distribution.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Help keep the kitchen area tidy, wiping down surfaces, putting away utensils, and assisting with any other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Support Meal Prep: Assist with setting up for meal times, including ensuring all necessary dishes and utensils are available.
